The problem

What the work needed to solve

Represent a workshop-led furniture business online without reducing custom dimensions, timber, finish and showroom service to a generic product grid.

Implementation

What I built or changed

  • Created a Shopify-ready data layer with a realistic local demo catalogue.
  • Built an eight-step furniture customization and enquiry workflow.
  • Added cart, wishlist, search, account, showroom, journal and commercial enquiry routes.
  • Implemented product, organization, FAQ, article and breadcrumb structured data.

Stack

Tools used in context

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Shopify Storefront API
  • Tailwind CSS

Limitations

What this evidence does not prove

  • The current project can run in demo mode; a live Shopify catalogue and final client media are required for production.

Next work

What comes after this snapshot

  • Connect the approved Shopify catalogue and media.
  • Validate customization and showroom enquiries with the operating team.
